Ronald L. Fink

Ronald L. Fink, 80, of 235 Pithole Road, Cyclone, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Hamot Medical Center in Erie.

Born October 7, 1934, in Bradford he was a son of the late Jess and Ruth (Williams) Fink. Mr. Fink was a 1952 graduate of Bradford High School.

In 1963 he married Gloria Jean (Cox) Fink who died February 11, 1997.

On July 20, 1954, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served for 20 years and 2 days. He was honorably discharged. After his retirement from the service he had worked for Allen's Motorcycle Shop, Pensilco and Pepperell Braiding.

He was a member of the VFW Post# 212, the American Legion Post # 108 and the Air Force Sergeants Association. He attended Hilltop Baptist Church.

Surviving is his longtime companion and caretaker, Carol Thursh with whom he resided, two daughters, Judi (Dale) Bennett, of Rixford, and Betsy Abrams, of Bradford, two sons, Kenneth  (Sharon) DuBois, of Bradford, and Mike (Mary) DuBois of Bradford, 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Gordon Fink, and one grandson Jeremy DuBois.

Family will be receiving friends on Monday, December 22, 2014, from 11:00am to 1:00pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc, 372 East Main Street, where funeral and committal services will be held at 1:00pm with Rev. Max Simms, Pastor of the Hilltop Baptist Church and Rev. Dan LaPage, pastor of the Christian Gospel Church in Coleville, Co-officiating. Military Honors will be held in the funeral home by the American Legion Post #108. Burial will be in Limestone Cemetery.
