Margo L. Falconi, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, a friend to many, but loved by all, 62, of 37 Main Street Lewis Run, passed away Friday, March 20, 2015 surrounded by her loving family at her residence.
Born April 29, 1952 in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Ruth (Perkins) Tambash and step daughter to Neal Tambash. She attended Bradford schools.
On October 4, 1969 in Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church she married Thomas D. Falconi who survives her.
She worked as a flagger for the Local Construction Union under Don Cummins. In 1981 the family moved to Charlottesville VA where she was a babysitter for area families. In 1992 she moved to Lumberton NC where she owned a gift basket business and later Abigail's Tea Room. The family moved back to Lewis Run in 2003 and bought Ross's Inn which they operated until her retirement.
Margo loved spending time playing pool but her greatest joy was cooking and going to the beach.
Surviving in addition to her husband Tom of 45 years, is one son Thomas D. "Chip" Falconi II of Lewis Run, one daughter Lisa Ann Falconi of Chester VA, one granddaughter Kayla M. Phillips of Chester VA, four sisters Deborah (Stan) Royer of Jackson MS, Jacquelyn Payea of San Marcos TX, Gail (Tom) Patterson of Charlotte NC, and RaeAnn (Tom) Manning of Pendleton SC, three brothers Neal (Miss) Tambash of Lewis Run, Terry Tambash and Jim Tambash both of Olean and many beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A Celebration of Margo's life will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the Anthonian Hall in Lewis Run. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Visiting Nurses Hospice Fund, the St. Jude Research Hospital or the McKean County SPCA.
