Marilyn J. Kopp

Marilyn J. Kopp, 86, of Honolulu, HI, formerly a longtime resident of Congress St., passed away peacefully Monday, January 12, 2015 at her home in Honolulu.

Born in December 30, 1928 in Bradford, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Nettie Brown Wilcox. 

On December 26, 1950 in St. Bernard Church, she married Stephen L. Kopp, who passed away September 16, 1994. 

She was a graduate of Bradford High School and The Royal Academy in Schenectady, NY. 

She worked at the Ken Lorch Beauty Shop in her early career and later she would manage the former Dis N Dat gift shop on Main St. She finished her career working for Graham Florist. 

She was an active member of St. Bernard Church until she moved to Hawaii to live with her daughter in 2000. 

She is survived by her daughter, COL (ret) Stephanie Marshall and her husband, Dr. Charles Miller, of Honolulu, HI, a brother James A. Wilcox of Gifford and several nieces. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Gloria Covert and Janet Wilcox, in infancy. 

Friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Wednesday May 6, 2015 at 11:30am in the Chapel at St. Bernard Mausoleum with Rev. Raymond Gramata, pastor, officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery. 

Memorials, if desired, can be made to The American Heart Association, St. Bernard Church, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
