Cecelia A. Rimer, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, 62, of 11 Homestead Ave., passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015, at The Pavilion @ BRMC after a five year battle with cancer.
Born July 22, 1952, in DuBois, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Anna (Iriti) Buckwalter.
On December 23, 1997, in Las Vegas she married John E. Rimer who survives.
Mrs. Rimer was a 1970 graduate of Bradford Area High School. She had been employed at Monago's Floor Covering, as a cook at the Bradford Moose Lodge, Cherilla's Restaurant and then for 15 years at Zippo Mfg.
She had been a member of the former Bradford Moose Lodge Auxiliary.
In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter, Michelle Gleason of Bradford, two sons Jimmy Gleason, of Bradford, and Matt (Brad) Gleason, of Charlotte, NC, three step daughters, Debbie (Bud) McCool, of Bradford, Sherry (Lyle) Priece, of Mt Jewett, Tammy Silvis, of Limestone, two step sons, John (Sandy) Rimer and Terry Rimer all, of Bradford, two sisters, Barb (Dean) Kowlsen, of Athens, TN; Paula Buckwalter, of Bradford, two brothers, Paul (Virginia) Buckwalter, of Pittsburgh, Donald Buckwalter, of Citris Heights, CA, three grandchildren, Nick & Nathan Gleason and Christopher Gleason, many step grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, from 11:00am to 1:00pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. South Ave., at which time funeral and committal services will be held at 1:00pm with with Rev. Raymond Gramata, pastor of St. Bernard Church officiating.
