Emory Allen Palmer, 78, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away, August 20, 2015, surrounded by his loving family.

Born August 17, 1937 in Bradford, he was the son of the late Emory W. and Elsie (Milliron) Palmer.

On October 14, 1957 in Bradford, he married Emily Joyce (Scott) Palmer.

Mr. Palmer served in the United States Navy from 1954 to 1958 and in the reserves until 1962.

He moved to Cleveland where he had been employed at Apex in Cleveland, and retired after 30 years of service.

Mr. Palmer enjoyed walking, riding his bicycle in the park and helping others. He was a kind and caring man. His greatest joy was being with his family and loved to have his grandchildren and great grandchildren near.

In addition to his wife of 57 years he is survived by two daughters, Lori (Robert) Mouro of Jacksonville, FL and Donna Palmer of Ohio, three sons, Emory A.”Jo Jo” (Helen) Palmer, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL, Steven (Karen) Palmer and Daniel Palmer all of Cleveland, several grandchildren and great grandchildren and a sister, Lois (Perry) Miller of Bradford.

Mr. Palmer was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter, Debra Lynn Palmer and three sisters.

There will be no public visitation or services.
