Mark H. Armstrong

Mark H. Armstrong, 62, of Bradford. formerly of Pompano Beach, FL, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at the Pavilion at BRMC. 

Born November 22, 1953 in Bradford, he was a son of the late John G 'Jocko'  and Janet H. (Howard) Armstrong.

He was a 1971 graduate of Bradford High School.

He spent most of his working life in food and beverage service and hospitality.  He managed the Starwood Hotels property in South Florida and was President of Concierge Association in West Palm, Fort Lauderdale and Miami and was a member of Les Clefs d'Or. He was also a member of the Pennhills Club. 

He is survived by two daughters, Sarah (Chris) Barber, of Kane and  Amanda Armstrong of Pacific Palisades, CA; two grandchildren, Lucas Burrs and Brinley Barber; a sister, Mary Beth Mohr, of Limestone; one brother, Matthew Armstrong of Bradford and several nieces and nephews.   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey Armstrong. 

Friends are invited to attend a memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM, Saturday, May 28, 2016 in St. Bernard Church, with Rev. Raymond Gramata, pastor as Celebrant.  Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery.  Memorial contributions, if desired, can be made to the Tony Dolan Ski for Cancer, c/o American Cancer Society, 2115 W. 38th St., Erie, PA 16508, Attn: Anna Marie or to the charity of the donor's choice.   A celebration of Mark's life will be held at The Pennhills Club at a later time and date to be announced.
