Katheryn E. Isenberg, 73, of 1190 Parkside Dr. Limestone, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016, surrounded by her loving family, at her residence.
Katheryn was born in Indiana, PA on November 1, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Charlotte (Cribbs) Thompson. She was a 1957 graduate of Indiana High School.
On July 31, 1958, in Indiana she married Dale I. Isenberg who survives.
She was a member of Limestone United Methodist Church Limestone, and the Eastern Star in Limestone.
Katheryn was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, knitting and sewing. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to her husband Dale of 57 years, are two daughters, Debra (Edward) Fidurko, of Limestone, and Susan Isenberg, of Bradford, four grandchildren, Dale (Jill) Fidurko, Zachary Fidurko, Rennie Florentine IV, and Hannah E. Florentine, one sister, Agnes I. Frazier, of Michigan, one brother, Charles Lee Thompson, of Michigan and longtime family friend Pattie Maben of Limestone.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one granddaughter Cora Florentine, two brothers John Robert Thompson and William Dale Thompson.
Family will be receiving friends Sunday June 26, 2016 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., 372 East Main St.,, where funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Monday with Rev. Robert Beard, Pastor of the Limestone United Methodist Church officiating. Committal services and burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery in Limestone.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to Limestone United Methodist Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
