Theodore Ted Curcio

Theodore V. “Ted” Curcio III, 68 of Eufaula AL, formerly of Bradford, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2016 at his residence, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born November 19, 1947 in Bradford, he was a son of the late Theodore A. Curcio Jr. and Mary D. (Passeur) Curcio.

He attended Bradford schools and graduated in 1965 from Bradford Central Christian High School. He was a graduate of Pittsburgh Technical College.

Ted was an electrical engineer specializing in computer software and processing steel. He was a Project Engineer at Carbo Electronics in Eufaula AL, Dietrich Metal Framing in Hammond IN and Dresser Rand in Bradford, PA.

Ted was an avid golfer, supporter of the American Cancer Society’s “Relay for Life”. He was an advocate for children’s education and helped many children find their way. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving in addition to his wife Charlotte, are two daughters Wendy (Joseph) Yaros of Bradford, and Jennifer Curcio of Columbus OH, three step children, 12 grandchildren, including Terra Tingley, Katlyn Langdon, Jordan Yaros, Kelsey Langdon, Joseph Yaros, Kyle Langdon, and Faith Langdon, two great grandchildren, Deliah Tingley and Roman Pire, one brother Thadd “Todd” Curcio and one sister Bonnie Swatt.

Funeral services were held on August 8, 2016 in Eufaula. Burial was in Sardis Freewill Baptist Cemetery.

Memorial contributions, if desired may be made to CARE for Children, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
