Evelyn L. Otto, 100, of 100 St. Francis Drive, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at the Bradford Ecumenical Home.
Born October 9, 1915 in East Stroudsburg, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Sylvia (Cramer) Bush.
She married Melvin G. Otto, who passed away April 22, 1993. They were married 60 years.
Mrs. Otto moved to the Bradford Area from Concordville 35 years ago. She was a member of Brandywine Baptist Church in Chadds Ford, a member of Lafayette Evangelical Christian Church in Lafayette and a member of the First Baptist Church in Salamanca, NY.
She was a loving caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Devoted Christian. Very active in her church her entire life. Organist, Choir Director, choir member, Sunday School and Bible Study teacher.
Evelyn enjoyed crocheting, knitting, quilling, crafts, reading, gardening and especially spending time with her family.
She is survived by 5 grandchildren, Theodore (late Susan) Otto of Lewis Run, Frederick (Brenda) Otto of Bradford, Robert 'Andrew' Otto of Philadelphia, Sandra L March of Strasburg, Jennifer Otto of Newark Delaware , 11 great grandchildren, Jennifer, Michael, Janelle, Kristen, April, Staci, Joshua, Benjamin, Mikayla, Olivia, Malikai. 11 great great grandchildren, Devan, Cayla, Grant, Emma, Elle, Logan, Brycen, Jack, Deegan, Charli Mae and EmmaJane. And many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sons, Robert, Freddy and Frank Otto, one sister Marjorie and two brothers Elwood and Don.
At the family's request there will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held at the Brandywine Baptist Cemetery Chadds Ford, Pa. at the family’s convenience.
