Helen I. Juliano

Helen I Juliano, 99, of 100 St. Francis Drive, passed away, Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at the Bradford Ecumenical Home.

Born August 8, 1917,  in Bradford she was a daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Yaros) Platko, Sr.

On September 17, 1938 in Bradford, she married Peter J. Juliano who preceded her in death.

She attended Custer City Schools.

Mrs. Juliano was a resident of Warren for 78 years. She was a member of St, Joseph's Catholic Church, Warren's Senior Center and a member of GTE Quarter Century Club.

She enjoyed playing golf at Cable Hollow, was a member of the Warren City Bowling league, was an avid fan of Penn State and Notre Dame Football and attended many games throught her life.

She had been employed as an inspector in Quality Control at Sylvania in Warren for over 35 years.

Surviving are three sisters, Pauline Mackey, of Bradford, Elizabeth Kavanaugh, of Buffalo, NY, and  Rose Boser, of South Bend, IN, one brother, Steve Platko, of Bradford, and many nieces and nephews including Sandy __________ of Warren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Mary Hvizdzak, Anna Fetyko, Susan Salamon and Margaret Wertz and two brothers, John Platko and Paul Platko. 

Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 1:00pm in Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church, with Rev. Stephen Collins, pastor as celebrant.  Committal services and burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery Warren, on Monday at 1:00pm
