Gene V. Meacham

Gene V. Meacham, 65, of 239 W. Washington St. Bradford, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016 at The Pavilion at BRMC.

Born in Port Allegany, on September 21, 1951, he was a son of the late Eugene and Alice (Campbell) Meacham. He was a 1968 graduate of Port Allegany High School.

Gene was employed for over 30 years at Pitt-Corning, later as a over the road truck driver and prior to his retirement at McCombs Industries in Salamanca..

Surviving is his longtime companion Julia McGuire,  one daughter, Myra Meacham, of Bradford, two sons Gene Meacham, of Bradford; Lonnie Meacham, of Shinglehouse, one sister, Tina (Bill) Drabert, of Roulette, his twin brother Dean (Valerie L.) Meacham of Bradford and brother, Michael (Valerie J.)  Meacham, of Port Allegany, seven grandchildren, Toni Meacham, Amanda Meacham, Cassandra Marsiglio, Ryan Marsiglio, Haley Marsiglio, Kodiak Meacham and Jeremiah Meacham, and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Nancy Meacham, and one sister Bonnie Fuller.

Family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 from 11:00am to 1:00pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 372 East Main St., at 1:00pm funeral and committal services will be held with Rev. W. LeRoy Beckes, retired Presbyterian Minister officiating.
