Henry P. Hank Vinciquera

Henry P. "Hank" Vinciquera, 96, a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, of 671 West Washington St. Bradford, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at The Pavilion at BRMC.

Born June 29, 1920 in Lewis Run, he was a son of the late Fred and Linda (Zanelli) Vinciquera.

Hank was a 1938 graduate of St. Bernard High School, where he excelled at basketball and football. He later played baseball in local area leagues.

He enlisted in the United States Army on April 22, 1942 and served in England, Africa and Italy during WWII. He was honorably discharged on November 15, 1945.

On September 18, 1954, in St. Bernard Church, he married Mary Jane (Cattoni) Vinciquera, who died on October 5, 1994.

Mr. Vinciquera worked as a freight agent for the the Erie Lackawana Railroad, the B&O Railroad, and retired from Conrail.

Hank was a member of St. Bernard Church, and was an avid golfer and member of Pine Acres Country Club.

Surviving is a daughter, Ann (Albert) Kramer of Lancaster, and a son, Thomas Vinciquera, of Bradford, three grandchildren, Jeffrey Kramer, Kelsey Kramer, and Elizabeth Kramer. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and two sisters Veronica Rhone and Leona Clarke.

Family will be receiving friends on Friday December 30, 2016 from 4-6pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 372 East Main St., where a prayer service will be held at Saturday at 9:30am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Bernard Church, with Rev. Raymond Gramata, pastor as Celebrant. Military Honors and committal services will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery.
