Donald A. Shick

Donald A. Shick, 77, of 686 Interstate Parkway, Bradford, passed away, Saturday, January 7, 2017, at the Bradford Manor.

Born August 25, 1939, in Weston Mills, NY, he was a son of the late Frank and Anna Eleonora (Okerlund) Shick.

On September 1, 1967, in Conway, SC, he married Arleene J. (Heffner) Shick who survives.

Mr. Shick was a 1958 Graduate of Otto Eldred High School. He was employed as a school bus driver for a time at McKeirnan Bus Garage, worked for Todd Motors in Eldred, then WR Case and & Sons and retired from Zippo Manufacturing.

He was a member of Salvation Army.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 49 years are two daughters, Lynnette (the late Michael) Clouser, of Cyclone, and Dawn (Mike) Morris, of Rew, two sons Kevin (Kelly) Shick, of Warren, and TeJay (April) Shick, of Warren, a sister, Janet (Ray) Kopec, of Bostic, NC, a brother, David (Linda) Shick, of Farmers Valley, 11 grandchildren, Angela Shick, Anthony Shick, Jayda Shick, Abigail Shick, Cameron Shick, Angila Clouser, Michael A. Clouser, Patti Clouser, Victoria Wagner, Jacob Morris and Jayden Morris, 10 great grandchildren, Tiffany Taylor, Mindy Semple, Richie Clouser, Garrett Clouser, Chyenne Clouser, Mason Oglesby, Sayge Clouser Jazmyn Clouser and MacKenzie Wells, 2 great great grandchildren, Brooke Clouser and McKenna Semple, and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service, on Friday, January 13, 2017, at 11:00am at the Salvation Army, 111 Jackson Ave., with Major Henry Weigner & Major Debie Weigner co-officiating.

I've known Donnie probably longer than any one else. I have been with him for 73 plus years. I am his brother. We had many great times as kids and teenagers. Oh yes the great memories. My wife Linda and I love him and will miss him greatly. He is now at peace and with our mom and dad.
