Allen J. "Charlie" Dawley, 57, of 362 Lafferty Hollow, Bradford, passed away, peacefully, Sunday, January 15, 2017, at The Pavilion at BRMC.
Born November 4, 1959, in Bradford, he was a son of Patricia "Pat" (Duvall) Timblin, of Milford DE and the late Jon A. Dawley. He was a 1977 graduate of Bradford High School.
On July 8, 2006 in Bradford, he married Nina J. (Bosworth) Dawley who survives.
Charlie was formerly employed as a truck driver for local area oil companies, NBS Trucking, and Northern Tier Inc. in Rew.
He was an avid hunter, and loved his cats. He was especially known for growing and canning his hot peppers. He was a former member of the Eagles Club.
Surviving in addition to his wife Nina, and mother Pat, is his step father Leroy "Tim" Timblin, one step daughter, Carrie Winston, of Erie, one step son, Cotton Winston, of Mercer, two sisters, Vonda K. (George) Reese of DuBois and Mindy R. (Randy) McElhatten of Salisbury MD, one brother, Steven J. Linville of Milford DE, three step grandchildren, Summer Bunker, Kenny Matteson and Mikey Matteson, and several nieces and nephews
Charlie was preceded in death by his father, and one brother Jeffrey R. Linville.
Family will be receiving friends on Monday January 23, 2017, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 372 East Main St., at 7:00pm funeral and committal services will be held with Rev. Matt Blake Pastor of the Bradford Area Parrish officiating. Burial will be in Bells Run Cemetery in Ceres.
