Beebe R. Confer

R. Beebe Confer, 92, of 394 West Washington St. Bradford, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017, at her daughters residence in Barboursville, VA.

Born February 22, 1924 in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Joseph F. and Georgia (Belle) Diller. Beebe was a 1941 graduate of Bradford High School.

On December 27, 1943 in Bradford, she married Robert Confer who died February 26, 2015.

Beebe had been employed as a Supervisor at Integra Bank for 22 years, retiring in 1986.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church, the Bradford Christian Women and AARP.

Surviving is one daughter, Linda L. (Larry) Esch, of Barboursville, VA, and one son, Douglas A. Confer, of Bradford, five grandchildren, six great grandchild, two great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother, Joseph Diller, Jr.

Friends are invited to call on Thursday, January 26, 2017, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc. 33 South Ave, where funeral and committal services will be held on Friday at 11:00am with Rev. Seth McClymonds, Jr., Pastor of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church or the SPCA or a charity of the donor's choice.
