Joseph A. Peters

Joseph A. Peters, 84, of 45 Chris Dr. Bradford, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017 at The Pavilion at BRMC.

Born December 22, 1932 in Bradford, he was a son of the late Charles A. and Marie (Wright) Peters.

Joe attended school in Limestone.

On June 27, 1964 in the East End Presbyterian Church, he married Mary F. (Beere) Peters, who died on March 30, 1997.

Joe was employed in the maintenance department at Dresser Manufacturing Company for 33 1/2  years. He enjoyed hunting, picking blackberries and a cigar once in a while.

Surviving is one daughter, Kathryn Vinca, of Pittsburgh, one son, Andrew J. (Mandy) Peters, of Dubois, two grandchildren, Alana Dinch, and Zayn Peters, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one daughter, Christine Peters, one son, Roy A. Peters, and 7 sisters and 6 brothers.

Family will be receiving friends on Wednesday March 29, 2017, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., 372 East Main St., at 6:00pm funeral and committal services will be held with Rev. Barbara Moore, Pastor of the Evans Memorial United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to Evans Memorial United Methodist Church.
