Mary Elizabeth Zetts

Mary Elizabeth “Liz” Zetts, 89, formerly of Bradford, passed away, April 11, 2017, in Maryland.

Born May 28, 1927 in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Hugh and Margaret (O’Connell) Rich.

Liz graduated from High Bradford School in 1945 and later from Seton Hill University in 1949.

On August 23, 1952, she married Adam M. Zetts who preceded her in death.

Surviving are two daughters, Mary Margaret Zetts, of San Diego CA, Anna C. Zetts, of Englewood CO, three sons, John Mark (Jill) Zetts of Falls Church VA, Hugh G. (Rhonda) Zetts, of Monrovia MD, and Brendan B. (Debbie) Zetts of Denver CO, two sisters, Martha Hipchen of Largo FL, and Ann Mongillo of Bradford, two brothers, Hugh “Bud” (June) Rich of Ludlow, and Thomas (Mary Jane)Rich of Eden NY, 7 grandchildren, 7  great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Daniel Alexander Zetts, and one brother William Rich.

Friends may call Tuesday, April 18, 2017, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm in the Pumphrey Funeral Home, 300 W. Montgomery Ave., Rockville MD.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday April 19, 2017 at 11:00am in the Shrine of St. Jude, 12701 Viers Mil Road, Rockville, MD. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring MD.

Memorial if desired may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
