Raymond A. “Rusty” Hetrick, 79, of 36 Jefferson Street Bradford, PA, passed away at 12:43am, Friday, April 28, 2017, at Bradford Manor.

Raymond was born in Sigel, PA on February 7, 1938, a son of the late Gertrude (Asel ) Hetrick-Songer and Howard Hetrick.

Rusty was a 1956 graduate of Bradford High School.

He worked for the US Forest Service and construction in the Bradford area before moving to California. He owned & operated a small grocery store in Olhone, CA and retired and returned to Bradford.

Rusty was a lifetime member of the Bradford YMCA, and a member of the Pine Acre's Country Club. He was an avid sports fan, he especially enjoyed gong to the Bonnie's basketball games.

Surviving are two brothers, Ronald (Bertha) Hetrick of Ormsby, and Dale (Barbara) Songer of Bradford, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his step father Robert Songer and a brother Donald L. Hetrick.

At Rusty’s request there will be no public services. Burial will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Sigel. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
