Dennis Carl Tyler

Dennis Carl Tyler, 67, of Bradford, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017. 

Born June 29, 1949 in Buffalo, he was the son of the late Carl A. and Lois Jean (Shimp) Tyler.

On September 10, 1994 in the First Baptist Church, he married Melinda (Pfister) Tyler, who survives. 

He attended schools in Rew, graduated from Daytona High School. He attended trade school in Fl and worked various mechanic jobs. 

Dennis enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1969, served in Vietnam and was honorably discharged in 1971.  

He was a member of the Derrick City Seventh Day Adventist Church.  

He loved camping, fishing, bowling and pulling pranks on family and friends.  He was a foster parent for over 10 years to many children.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by 13 children, Tammy (Mike) Evans of Maryland, Nichole (Torrey) Tyler, Ashton Tyler, Stephanie Tyler, Diana Tyler, Frances Tyler, Joslyn Tyler, Jade Jensen,Judy McClelland, Jason Tyler, Ricky Tyler, Kyle Everly and Jason 'JC' Tyler, all of Bradford; 13 grandchildren, Danae, Mikey, Robert, David, Jimmy, Arianna, Dennis, Anthony, Emma and Jacob; two sisters, Karen Ames of Bradford and Barbara Smith of Florida. 

There will be no public services observed. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.

Memorial contributions, if desired, can be made to The Derrick City Seventh Day Adventist Church, The McKean County SPCA, Disabled Veterans Association or the charity of the donor's choice.
