Beverly Faye Tallentire

Beverly Faye Tallentire, 58, of 299 Hedgehog Lane, Bradford, passed away Friday, November 24, 2017, at Hamot Medical Center in Erie.

Born January 6, 1959, in Buffalo NY, she was a daughter of the late Albert J. and Carole  (Tingley) Green.

Beverly was a 1976 graduate of Smethport High School. She attended dance school in Houston and became a professional ballroom dancer and jazz dancer.

She returned to the area and attended Mansfield School of Business. Later she attended St. Francis School of Practical Nursing in Olean, and received her LPN degree.

She had worked for the family business, AJ Green Excavating, which later became Keystone Excavating.

Bev worked at Bradford Regional Medical Center from 1991-1996 and later worked for Pediatric Services of America from 2004 to the present time. 

She enjoyed her nursing occupation, being with family, dancing, and vegetable gardening

Surviving are her children, a daughter, Alyssa Joy (Jason) Wood, a son, Russell Tallentire, all of Bradford; a sister, Sonia  (Tom) Nelson, of Bradford; two grandchildren,  Parker Tallentire and Aubrey Tallentire; her companion with whom she resided, John Platko, and several beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  

Family will be receiving friends on Saturday, December 2, 2017, from noon to 1:00pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc.,South Ave., where funeral servies will be held at 1 PM with Rev. Max Simms, Pastor of Hilltop Baptist Church, officiatin.   Burial will follow in Willow Dale Cemetery.
