Ronald E. Reynolds

Ronald E. Reynolds, Jr., 78, of 154 S. Kendall Ave., Bradford, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017, with his wife at his side, at Hamot Medical Center, in Erie.

Born October 25, 1939 in Bradford, he was a son of the late Ronald E. Reynolds Sr. and Shirley (Willibey) White. Ron lived in various places in the area while growing up. He was a graduate of Smethport High School.

On October 3, 1988 in Las Vegas NV, he married Nancy (Wareham Brace) Reynolds who survives.

Ron worked many jobs throughout his life to support his family. He worked for American Refiing Group, retiring after 33 years in 2005.

He attended the Sawyer Evangelical Church, a member of the Quarter Century Club, member and served on the Board of Directors at the Greater Bradford Senior Activities Center, where he often played music to entertain his friends. He was the leader for the Band The Country Rockets for over 30 years, they played sometimes three times a week at area venues. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, loved to plow snow, adored his kitties Little and Zellie. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family. He spent many hours playing his electric guitar and steel guitar in the basement at home.

Surviving in addition to his wife Nancy of nearly 30 years are four daughters, Paula (Floyd) Roth, of Smethport, Diana Reynolds, of Smethport, Patti (Mark) Foster, of Aiken, and Dana (David) Frontino, of Port Allegany,  two sons Alan Reynolds and Scott Reynolds, both of Mt. Jewett,  two step sons Eric (Kimberly) Brace, of Erie and Sean (Christina) Brace, of Ellisville MS, one sister, Linda (Carl) France, of Falls Creek, and one brother, Harold (Madilyn) Reynolds, of Williamsport. 12 grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 step great grandchild, one uncle Frank Reynolds of Bradford, one aunt, Eleanor Reynolds of Emporium, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by parents, step mother Charlotte Reynolds, one sister Sharon Jean Mills.

Family will be receiving friends on Monday December 11, 2017, from 10:00am to Noon at Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 372 East Main St., Bradford, at Noon funeral services will be held with Rev. Barry Troyer Pastor of the Sawyer Evangelical Church officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park.
