Margaret H. Cattoni

Margaret H. Cattoni, 94, formerly of 5 Boss Ave., passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at the Bradford Manor.

Born August 9, 1923, in Ridgway, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Miller) Zurfluh.

Mrs. Cattoni was a 1941 graduate of Ridgway High School and a 1944 graduate of Bradford Hospital's School of Nursing. She had been employed as a registered nurse at Bradford Regional Medical Center for 45 years.

On July 20, 1945 in St. Bernard Church, she married Louis A. Cattoni, Jr., who died September 23, 1980.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, and TOPS Club.

Surviving are three children, two daughters, Anne L. Dewyer of Bradford, and Mary Margaret (Frank) Rizzo, of Somers, NY, one son, John M. (Connie) Cattoni of Bradford, seven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, one brother, Don (Dottie) Zurfluh of Ligonier, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Robert Zurfluh, two sisters, Doris McCoy and Ruth Anderson, and one son-in-law Phillip Dewyer.

Family will be receiving friends on Saturday, December 23, 2017, from 1:00pm to 2:00pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., 33 South Ave. where funeral services will be held at 2:00pm with Rev. Seth McClymonds, pastor of the First United Methodist Church officiating Entombment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.

Memorials if desired may be made to First United Methodist Church, or the American Cancer Society.
