Patricia A. Santiago

Patricia A. Santiago, 64, of 30 Lorana Ave. Bradford, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at her residence.

Born February 17, 1953, in Bayshore, NY, she was a daughter of the late John D. and Beatrice E. "Betty" (Enggren) Thornton.

Patty was a 1971 graduate of Islip High School and a graduate of St. Bonaventure where she received her degree in accounting.

She enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking, reading and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

She had been employed at American Refining Group in Bradford, and retired as a senior account at Olean Wholesale in Olean.

Patricia is  survived by a daughter, Elizabeth C. (Craig) Warfield, and one son, Vincent (Sarah Cannon) Santiago, all  of Bradford, two sisters, Denise Gerdes-Caza, of West Melbourne, FL and  Loretta Dalia, of Islip Terrace, NY, one brother, Michael Thornton of Shirley, NY, seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Matthew Thornton and her longtime companion Butch DuBois.

Family will be receiving friends on Friday, December 22, 2017 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc, 33 South Ave., where funeral and committal service will be held at 2:00pm with  Rev Raymond Gramata, Pastor of St. Bernard Church officiating.

Memorials if desired may be made to St. Francis Church, or the Bradford Public Library.
