Cynthia M. Whyte

Cynthia M. Whyte, 66, of 10 Boss Avenue, passed away Monday, January 1, 2018 in Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born  May 18, 1951, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Angelo and Angela (DeCasper) Giordano.

On February 23, 1974 in Our Mother of Perpetual Church, she married Richard L. Whyte, who survives. 

She was a 1969 graduate of Bradford High School. 

Mrs. Whyte worked for Super Duper, Tops, Speer Resistor, Bradford Manor, The Bradford Area School District and then opened her own business, Cindy's Book Haven.

She was a member of St. Bernard Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Amy (Jason) Bettum, of Lewis Run;a son,Casey (Danielle) Whyte, of Bradford; five grandchildren, Jayda Bettum, Emma Whyte ,Garrett Whyte, Kadence Martin and Cameron Martin; three sisters, Paula Louk and Angela (A.R.) Nelson, all of Bradford and Janice (Kevin) Behan, of Lewis Run; a brother, Larry (Terri) Giordano of Lewis Run and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents.

There will be no visitation.  A celebration of Cynthia's life will be held at a time and date to be announced. 

Memorial contributions, if desired, can be made to the American Heart Association, The American Diabetes Association or to the charity of the donor's choice.
