Ernest D. Loch

Ernest D. Loch, 76, of Bradford, passed away, Friday, December 29, 2017 at Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born January 18, 1941 in Lehighton, he was a son of the late Pierce W. and Sallie A. (Rappel) Loch. He was a graduate of Lehighton High School.

On June 30, 1973 in Lehighton, he married Marilyn (Workman) Loch who survives.

He had attended Grace Lutheran Church and was a member of the NRA. Ernest was a member of the Appalachian Trail Consortium, and walked ten miles of trail in every state it passes through.

Ernest was employed at a lamp factory in Slatington, the Big Boulder Ski Lodge as a Night Security Guard. He also had worked at Paris Accessories and retired from Bradford Forest Products.

He is survived by his wife Marilyn of 44 years, two nephews Arnold Loch and Larry Loch. He was preceded in death by his parents, one infant sister Hazel Mae, and two brothers Harold and Joe Loch.

Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 11:00am Saturday June 30, 2018, at the Grace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Patrick Cox, Pastor officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
