Marilyn F. Bryant

Marilyn F. Bryant, 85, formerly of 20 Burnside Avenue, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018, at The Pavilion at BRMC, surrounded by her loving family.

Born September 13, 1932 in Peabody, MA, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Daisy (Lefave) Atkinson.

She graduated from Peabody High School in 1951. 

On May 6, 1956, she married Lawrence O. Bryant who passed away October 5, 1978. 

She worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company for a time and then worked in the kitchens in several area restaurants, including Anderson's Diner, The Holiday Inn and then for Togi's Family Restaurant for over 20 years. 

She enjoyed Bingo, walking and spending time with her family and her grandchildren. 

She is survived by a daughter, Anne (Dean) Cobb and a son, Stephen Bryant, all of Bradford; four grandchildren, Josh (Stacy) Cobb, Chris (Shari) Cobb, Kelly Cobb and Ezra Charnisky; three great grandchildren, Haiden Cobb, Emily Elizabeth Cobb and Makayla Costello; one sister, Shirley (Ted) Kobialka of Salem, MA; a brother, Robert (Jean) Atkinson of Clifton Park, NY; a brother in law, Walter (Kay) Bryant of Bradford and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Daisy McIntyre and Carol Smith and one brother, William Atkinson. 

Friends are invited to call from 3-5 & 7-9 PM, Wednesday, January 10. 2018 in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., East Main St., where a prayer service will be held at 9:30 AM, Thursday, January 11, 2018 followed by a 10 AM Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bernard Church, with Rev. Raymond Gramata, Pastor, as celebrant.  Burial will follow in Willow Dale Cemetery. 

Memorial contributions, if desired, can be made to the Corydon Township Volunteer Fire Department, any Veteran's organization or the charity of the donor's choice.
