Larry A. Lindquist Sr.

Larry A. Lindquist, Sr. 81, of 136 South Kendall Avenue, Bradford, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018, surrounded by his loving family, at the Bradford Manor.

Born July 26, 1936 in Kane, he was a son of the late Elmer and Agnes (Boyle) Lindquist.

On March 7, 1964 in Bradford, he married Jacqueline "Jackie" Diane (Ordiway) Lindquist who survives.

Larry attended Bradford High School. On November 2, 1959, he enlisted in the United States Army and was honorably discharged February 15, 1962. He returned to his job at Zippo Manufacturing and retired after 46 years of service.

He was a craftsman, and enjoyed woodworking, listening to music, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Jackie of 53 years he is survived by four daughters, Kathy (Gerald) Quinn of Lewis Run, Terri Lindquist of Bradford, Kim Lindquist of Bradford and Kelly (Heath Rossman) Clark of Cyclone, one son, Larry A Lindquist, Jr., of Bradford 14 grandchildren, Brian Lindquist, Tristan Mackey, Hope (Steve) Sherk, Garret Coder, Shane (Jess Lonzi) McVay, Jory (Jodi Irons) McVay, Amanda McVay, Bret McVay, Tylor Clark, Chad Clark, Bailey Steele, Colbey Steele, Alannah Lindquist/Steele and Olivia Rossman, five great grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Phyllis Lindquist, of Bradford, and several niece and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Sandy Travis, and Gail E. Lindquist, two brothers, Ron Lindquist and John Lindquist.

At the family's request there will be no visitation. Services are private and will be held at the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc.
