Patricia J. Adams

Patricia J. Adams, 82, of 42 Long Lane Bradford, passed away Wednesday, at Olean General Hospital. She went home on Valentine’s Day to meet the two loves of her life, Jesus, and her husband, whom she has missed for 30 years, How great is our God.

Born August 2, 1935 in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Claudius D. and Ida D. (Caswell) Barrett. She attended Bradford schools.

On August 18, 1956 in Youngsville, she married Noel A. Adams who died March 5, 1987.

Pat retired from AirCo Speer, and later worked at Community Nurses.

She was a member of Foursquare Gospel Church where she had served as a Deaconess.

Pat was an avid reader and witness for her Lord and Savior.

Surviving is one daughter, Christy L. (Stephen) Haskell, and one son, Joel A. Adams, all of Bradford, two grandchildren, Eric S. (Beth) Saxman of Sykesville, and Erin L. (Justin) Parkes of Bradford, one step granddaughter Christa Dozier of Coudersport, two great grandchildren, Connor Saxman, and Olivia Saxman, and one step great grandchild Terra Dozier, one brother, Jerry Barrett, of Clarion, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother Dale Barrett.

Family will be receiving friends on Monday February 19, 2018 from 10:30am to noon in the Fellowship Hall at the Foursquare Gospel Church. Funeral services will follow at Noon in the Sanctuary with Rev. Matthew McDonald, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Limestone Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
