Barbara A. Strauch

Barbara A. Strauch, 63, of 5835 Church Street, Limestone, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Jones Memorial Hospital, in Wellsville, surrounded by her loving family.

Born December 31, 1954, in Bradford she was a daughter of the late William B. and Eva (Selner) B. Burkett. She was a 1973 graduate of Limestone High School.

On December 25, 1973, in Limestone, she married Charles Strauch who survives.

Barbara had been employed as a factory worker at several businesses during her career.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Charles, of 44 years, she is survived by two daughters, Chastity L. (Anthony) Standish, of Franklinville, and Shannon M. Wolford, of Limestone, one son, James W. (Erica Carls) Strauch, of Limestone, a sister, Debra (Gordon) Sherk, of Bradford, 9 grandchildren, Christian Martin, Sabrina Wolford, Courtney Barrett, Sebastion Wolford, Jasmine Strauch, Daniel Standish, Trent Strauch, Felicia DeGolier, and Alexander Strauch, 4 great grandchildren, Alexxus Martin, Xander Martin, Mason Willoughby and Mia Willoughby, two nieces, Marsha Munday and Christy Schoelles, and one nephew, David Sherk.

Family will be receiving friends on Saturday, April 21, 2018, from 10:00am to 11:00am in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., 372. East Main St. where funeral and committal services will be held at 11:00am, with Rev. Robert Beard, pastor of the Limestone United Methodist Church officiating.
