Ronald I. Rolfe

Ronald I. Rolfe, 69, formerly of Model City NY, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018 at The Pavilion at BRMC in Bradford, PA.

Born August 17, 1948 in Niagara Falls, he was a son of the late Irven and Edna (Crew) Rolfe. Ron was a 1966 graduate of Lewiston Porter Central School.

Ron worked as a truck driver his entire career. He last worked for Modern Landfill in Youngstown NY. He also was the bouncer at Apple Grannies in Lewiston.

He was a member of the Moose Lodge and lifetime member of the Lewiston Volunteer Fire Department having served actively from 1970 until 1995. Ron played Santa for over 50 years for area families in and around Western NY.

Surviving is one sister, Edna (Jack) Strope, of Model City NY, two nieces, Stacey Walker, and Dawn Ryals, three grand nephews, Tyler, Anthony, and Nicholas, three grand-nieces Cassie, Savanah, and Kimberly.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Edward Rolfe who died in 1974.

Family will be receiving friends on Saturday April 21, 2018 from 11:00am to Noon in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., 33 South Avenue, Bradford PA, at Noon funeral services will be held with Rev. Seth McClymonds, Jr., pastor of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be on Tuesday April 24, 2018 at 11:00am in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery in Lewiston NY.
