Elmo Elizabeth Zumstein

Elmo Elizabeth Zumstein, 91, of 8 Evans Drive, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at The Pavilion at BRMC.

Born April 6, 1927 in Tuna, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Gladys (Patterson) Farnsworth. She was a 1945 graduate of Bradford High School.

She had worked at Jubilee Supermarket as a cashier, clerk, and as a bakery clerk when she retired.

Mrs. Zumstein was a member of First Church of the Nazarene and the Greater Bradford Senior Activity Center. She enjoyed going to bingo, playing cards with family and friends, and going to the Seneca-Allegany Casino.

Surviving are four daughters, Carol A. Button, of Lewis Run, Beth  A. Prescott, of Summerville, SC, Ruth  A. Dixon, of Bradford, and Jean A. Zumstein, of Lewis Run, seven grandchildren, Kristie Murray, Andrew White, Melissa Kohler, Kevin Button, Patrick Duffy, Michael Dixon, and Douglas Dixon, 15 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Lynn Wilt, two brothers Bunnie Jack Farnsworth and Donald Farnsworth.

Family will be receiving friends on Monday April 23, 2018 from 11:00am to Noon in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 South Ave., at Noon funeral services will be held by her grandson Andrew White officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park.
