Russell L. Larry Coy

Russell L. (Larry) Coy, 45, of 162 Fairground Rd, Gifford, passed away, Tuesday, July 23, 2002, in Bradford.

Born September 18, 1956, in Bradford he was a son of "Russell E. and Janice I (Goldin) Coy of Bradford.

Mr. Coy was a graduate of Bradford High School, class of 1974.

On February 9, 1980 in Bradford he married Melanie A. (Maynard) Coy who survives.

He served during the Vietnam War in the Navy onboard on the John F. Kennedy Aircraft Carrier as a fireman from 1974 to 1976.

He attended New Life Fellowship World Outreach Center Church

He was a self-employed as a mechanic and auto body painter for local customers and formerly he had worked with his father installing carpeting and at Jarrett Machine shop where he did carpentry, electrical and maintenance work

In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife Melanie, one son, Casey D. Coy of Bradford, two nieces and 2 nephews

Friends are invited to call on Thursday, July 25, 2002 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm at Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. South Ave. where funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, with Stanton R. Higley, Pastor of New Life Fellowship World Outreach Center officiating. Committal services and burial will follow in Willow Dale Cemetery.
