Emily Gee Holly

Emily Frances Gee Holly, 78, formerly of Seaward Ave., passed away, Tuesday, June 12, 2018, while in the company of family members, at the Bradford Ecumenical Home.

Born February 9, 1940, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Noah Gee and Mary Elizabeth (Frantz) Gee-Hedlund.

On July 8, 1969 in Bradford she married William A. Holly who preceded her in death on January 5, 1998.

Emily had been employed for 44 years at Zippo Manufacturing Co. until her retirement in June of 2003.

Emily was a private person and liked spending time on her patio feeding and making friends with her many stray cats. She loved spending time with her two special nephews, Corey J. Black and Connor J. Wickett, her special niece, Erin (Joe Strotman) Black, and a special aunt, Barbara Frantz of Bradford.

Surviving are three sisters, Virginia A. Hedlund, of Bradford, Tammy (Bill) Black, and Mary Kay (Tim) Wickett all of Lafayette, one brother Gregory A. Hedlund, of Sturgis, SD, many nieces, nephews and cousins, two stepsons Michael Holly and Daniel Holly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a step-father, Gilbert C. Hedlund, a brother in law Gilbert L. Hedlund, a sister in law, Jacqueline Hedlund and a stepson David Holly.

At Emily's request there will be no visitation. Private services will be observed by family in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park.
