Laurie A. Davis

Laurie A. Davis, 56, of Bradford, passed away, Monday, June 25, 2018 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Born September 18, 1961, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Richard G. and Aletta (Weaver) Buchanan.

Laurie was a 1979 graduate of Bradford Area High School.

On March 1, 1985 in Bradford, she married Stephen R. Davis, who survives.

In 1980 she began working for Pensilco, which later became PureSil. In 2001 the Company closed its shop in Bradford. For the last 17 years she had worked as a union laborer for Cutco Corporation in Olean.

Laurie enjoyed playing bingo, camping with her family, traveling with her husband, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Stephen of 33 years, she is survived by one daughter, Sara (Shawn Mason) Davis, of Bradford, two sons Steven (Carrie) Davis Cape Carteret, NC, and Jake Davis, of Bradford, six grandchildren, Kayla Davis, Cameron Davis, Kristian Davis, Connor Davis, Keagan Davis, and Dylan Arlington, a sister, Diana (Sam) Priest, of Bradford, and several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Family will be receiving friends on Thursday, June 28, 2018, from 10:00am to Noon in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., 33 South Ave., at Noon funeral services will be held with Rev Robert Brest pastor of the First Free Methodist Church officiating. She will be laid to rest at McKean Memorial Park.
