Norma Kay Wells

Norma Kay Wells, 75, of 15 Bagley Ave Bradford, passed away, surrounded by her loving family, Saturday, July 14 2018, at Hamot Medical Center, in Erie

Born October 14, 1942 in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Amos and Martha (Yount) Shaffer. She was a graduate of Bradford High School.

On October 28, 1961 in the Asbury United Methodist Church, she married Arnold M. Wells who survives.

She was employed at Bovaird & Seafang, Hull Electric, and prior to her retirement she worked 35 years in central services at the Bradford Hospital.

Norma attended the Asbury United Methodist Church. She enjoyed knitting crocheting. She loved the holiday season, she loved to pick ground pine and make the most beautiful wreaths for area families.

Surviving in addition to her husband Arnie of 57 years, is one daughter Andrea (John) O'Hara, of Bradford, one son Erick Wells, of Bradford, seven grandchildren, Josh, Matt, Stephanie, Katelyn, Amber, Heather, and Lindsay, three great grandchildren Mackenzie, Alexis, and Aurora, six sisters, Elizabeth "Bea" Welsh, of Sunbury, JoAnne Heller, of MD, Marilyn Gross, of Bradford, Maureen Shaffer, of Bradford, Linda Oden, of Al, and Carol Steel of NC, one brother, Henry Shaffer, of Pittsburgh, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister Gloria Oleska.

Friends are invited to attend Memorial Services on Friday July 27, 2018, at 10:00am in the Asbury United Methodist Church, with Rev. Matt Blake officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
