Edward D. Kuser Sr.

Edward D. Kuser Sr., 91, of 449 Minard Run Road, Bradford, passed away, Friday, October 19, 2018, at the Bradford Manor.

Born August 5, 1927, in Front Royal, VA he was a son of the late Joseph E. and Virginia P. (Bushong) Kuser.

On November 27, 1952 in Phillipsburg, he married Alice C. (Ehrenfeld) Kuser, who died November 21, 2000.

Ed was a 1946 graduate of Bradford High School. He enlisted in the United States Navy on June 26, 1945, serving in WW II, and was honorably discharged on July 20, 1946.

He had been employed as a District Sales Manager at Keebler Company for 33 years.

Ed was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where he had served as a Deacon.

He was a former member of Union Lodge #334 F&AM, and a current member of Bradford Lodge #749 F&AM, the Coudersport Consistory, Zem Zem Shrine in Erie, McKean County Shrine Club where he had served as president, the Royal Order of Court Jesters, Court 58 of Erie.

Surviving is one daughter, Kristin Crace, of Las Vegas, NV, one son, Edward D. Kuser and daughter-in-law Jolynn Kuser, of Mansfield, TX, companion Ardel McLaughlin and several grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and sister Elizabeth Ross.

Family will be receiving friends on Friday, October 26, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 South Ave. Masonic Services will be held Friday at 4:00pm in the funeral home by members of Bradford Lodge #749 F&AM.

Family will receive friends again on Saturday from 10:00am to 11:00am at the First Presbyterian Church, at 11:00am funeral services will be held with Rev. Rob Klouw, Co-pastor, officiating. Full Military Honors by members of the American Legion Post 108 Honor Guard and burial will follow in Willow Dale Cemetery, 

Memorials if desired may be made to the Shriner's Children’s Hospital in Erie or the First Presbyterian Church.
