David L. Troutman, 75, of 61 Gilbert Lane Bradford, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018, at his residence.
Born September 11, 1943 in Bradford, he was a son of the late Richard and Caroline (Anderson) Troutman.
On March 28, 1964, in Bradford, he married Karen L. (Goss) Troutman who survives.
David was a 1962 graduate of Bradford High School. He had been employed as an equipment operator for Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
He was an avid outdoors man who loved to fish and hunt. He enjoyed travel out west on hunting trips. He enjoyed bowling, horseshoes, baseball, softball and billiards. In his quiet time he did crossword puzzles and Sudoku.
He was a member of the Eagles Club.
Surviving in addition to his wife Karen of 54 years are two daughters, Kristine (Jason) Bentley, of Conrath, WI, and Melissa (Daniel) Wright, of Oakwood, OH, one sister, Cora (Lew) Niver, of Brevard, NC, his sister-in-law, Connie (Bruce) Phearsdorf, of Allegany, NY, two brothers, Bill (Elaine) Troutman, of Hendersonville, NC and Ben Troutman, of Bradford, 8 grandchildren, Kyle Eck, Grace Hutton, Bill Eck, Joshua Wright, Joseph Wright. Jacob Wright, Trisha Carpenter and Lindsay Eck, and several nieces and nephews.
Family will be receiving friends on Wednesday November 7, 2018, from 11:00 to 1:00pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 South Ave., followed by funeral and committal services with Retired Presbyterian Minister, Rev. W. LeRoy Beckes officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
