Patricia C. Pessia (Pat), 57, of 128 Russell Blvd, Apt #2, passed away on Wednesday, December 26th, at The Pavilion in Bradford.

Born on May 25, 1961 in Clarksville,TN, she was the daughter of the late Carolyn (Lusk) and Gladstone E. Smith, Jr.

She graduated from Midlothian High School in Richmond, VA.

Pat married Lawrence J. Pessia in 1995, who preceded her in death on November 19, 2013.

Pat was an outgoing, people person who loved animals.  She enjoyed arts and crafts projects, often selling her wares and donating the proceeds to the local animal shelter.

Pat is survived by one sister, Kathy Golding of Houston, TX, one brother, Stone Smith of Midlothian, VA, several nieces, nephews, and her pets, Max and Smedley.  Special thanks to friend, Floyd O’Hara, for being there every day for Pat.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her sister, Sally Burke.
