Larry R. Hambone Hamilton
Larry R. "Hambone" Hamilton, 51, of Droney Road, Gifford, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at Buffalo General Hospital, in Buffalo.
Born January 27, 1967 in Olean, he was the son of Larry R. Hamilton and Marcia (Gorton-Hamilton) Burrell, and the stepson of Martin Burrell.
Larry was a 1984 graduate of Smethport High School where he participated in football and wrestling.
He had been employed at Honeywell in Farmers Valley.
Larry enjoyed road trips with his friend Brent Keith, family gatherings, campfires with Lloyd and Tracy Holden, and hanging out at Jack Baker's garage. He enjoyed watching sporting events especially football.
Surviving in addition to his mother, Marcia, are two daughters, Lauren and Laini Hamilton, three sisters, Rhonda (Darryl) Case, Connie (Stan) Halladay, and Stephanie (Joe McGraw) Massa, nieces and nephews including, Jeff (Dasha) Halladay, Matthew Case, Porsche Case, Shawn Halladay, and Caroline and Loralei Massa, grand nephews, Shiloh, and Liam Case, Colton Halladay, and grand niece Addysin Gross, and one aunt, Terry Smith, two uncles, Robert Gorton and Jack Gorton and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father Larry, his step father Martin Burrell, his maternal grandparents Bob and Jean Gorton, and aunt Brenda Dunn.
Family will be receiving friends on Friday, January 11, 2019 from 2 to 4pm & 6 to 8pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes,Inc., 33 South Ave, and again on Saturday, from 10:00am to 11:00am in the Peoples Christian Fellowship Church, where funeral and committal services will be held at 11:00am with Rev. Robert Gorton Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park.
