All Condolences -

Rick Brocius was a good man: This was felt by everyone who met and worked with him. We experienced him through our collaboration in the Constructed Wetland Group work. He was intelligent, responsible, knowledgeable, honest, and paid attention to the details of nature. He also understood how nature could work in the service of humanity if the laws of nature are obeyed. This is why he stood behind the Reed Bed System. He was a good listener of human beings and nature, and he had high integrity. It was always a pleasure to speak with him and to gain his insights. We will miss him very much, but he is not far away. Every time we have a question, we can count on his wisdom, if we say, "What would Rick think of this? How would he solve this problem?" Our thoughts and prayers are with Joy and the entire family. Dear Joy and Family. I''m so saddened by this news and our family sends our Love and Aloha from Hawaii to all of you. Rick and I were very good friends in High School and spent many hours building displays at the "Old" TOPS Supermarket while listing to our favorites like John Denver, Chicago, the Eagles and The Steve Miller Band. Afterwards we would "flame the Main" in his red Jeep that he cherished so much. He always had a positive outlook on life and always had his kind smile. We would hunt, trap muskrat, fish and spend many hours in nature where we felt most at home. Recently, during a visit back to Bradford, we spent time together at the Bradford Club catching up on life. He was so proud of his family and had sparkles of love in his eyes when he spoke of his children and grandchildren. He explained how he loved to put together music collections and share them with his family ... The Lyrics from "Time" by the band Pink Floyd was a topic of conversation as we discussed how fast life gets behind us. Rick was truly a one of kind friend and the positive memories will live on forever. RIP my friend. Aloha ''Oe ... Until we meet again. Dan

Rick was the type of person who was allways there for anyone, no matter what time of day or night it was .he would travel 10 minutes or 5 hours to help. It was either a cheer program a baseball game soccer or volleyball he was there. His work ethic was incredible always reminded me of my father. And if he didn''t know the answer he would research it. And find the best answer. His love for taking his grandchildren fishing was increadibl5. Rick was most proud of his son and his professional firefighter career. He served the people of the CITY of Bradford and turned his department around. Rick was never afraid to take on anything. He never took sides and insisted would always bring calm. We are so sad he was taken from our lives waay too soon. I doubt that you could search and find 1 person who was not fond of him.we will always cherish the times he spent with us. We love you so much. Rest in peace and know that even after I thought my dad had taught me so much your mellow tone and peaceful words have taught me a lot more. I will forever take care of your loved ones...just knowing your looking down on me. I love you and you have my promise, until we meet up with again pl please rest in peace.
