Daniel R. DeCorte

Daniel R. DeCorte, 34, of Derrick City, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 7, 2020 at Mercy Hospital with family by his side.

Born July 2, 1986, in Bradford, Dan was the son of Ray M. DeCorte and the late Charlene M. DeCorte (Confer.)

He was a 2004 graduate of Bradford Area High School and attended Slippery Rock University.

On September 7, 2019 at the Woodside Tavern in Olean, NY he married Amber (Webster) DeCorte, who survives.

In previous years, he had been employed at Case Cutlery and Kessel Construction and prior to his death he worked at the Bradford Regional Airport.

Dan enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping and backyard fires. He loved all animals, especially the boys, "dogs" Cody and Auggie and "cat", Cocamo. Dan loved football season and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He was a member of the Italian American Progressive Club (IAPC) and was the crane operator for the ball drop at the Bradford First Night events.

Surviving in addition to his wife Amber, are his father Ray, one sister, Rachelle (Ryan) Stiver, of Atlanta, GA; paternal grandmother Barbara K. DeCorte, of Bradford; maternal grandmother Margaret Confer, of Bradford; one brother-in-law, RJ (Caitlin) Webster and one niece, Emma of Bradford; parents-in-law, Jim and Kathy (Gorton) Webster of Duke Center.

Friends and family will be invited to attend a Celebration of Dan's Life at a later date and time to be announced.

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the McKean County SPCA, PO Box 113, Bradford, PA 16701, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
