Marie L. Austin, 79, of 198 South Ave., Bradford, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Sena-Kean Manor in Smethport.

Born August 11, 1941 in Bradford, she was a daughter of Augustas L. and Charlotte M. (Jones) Stewart.

She was a 1959 graduate of Bradford High School.

On June 11, 1960 in Bradford, she married Keith Austin who died November 17, 1993.

Marie and her husband had lived in Maryland prior to returning to Bradford.

Surviving are two grandchildren, Chelsea Austin, and Craig Austin, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son Kevin Austin, three sisters, Joan Brooks, Darlene Peterson, and Donna Ball, four brothers, Ike Stewart, Richard Stewart, Junior Stewart, and Robert Stewart.

Friends will be received on Friday January 15, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc. 33 South Avenue, at 11:00 am funeral services will be held with Pastor Ken Devine of the First Baptist Church of Frewsburg NY, officiating. Burial will be in Limestone Cemetery.
