Taryn A. Couch

Taryn A. Couch, 25, of Bradford, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at the Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born on  February 20, 1995 in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late William D. Couch, Jr. and Flora J. (Rickard) Nye. She was a 2013 graduate of Coudersport High School.

Tayrn was employed at the Bradford Ecumenical Home and the Bradford Pavilion. She was currently employed as a home health care worker. She loved taking care of her patients at the Pavilion and providing care to all.

She loved to travel and experience new adventures, especially going to NYC. She enjoyed all kinds of outdoor activities including camping and fishing. Taryn was very artistic in painting and designing nails. She always wanted to start her own nail design business.

Taryn is survived by her mother Flora Nye, of Port Allegany, sisters Ashley Rickard, of Port Allegany, Cynthia (Nate) Kline, of Bradford, brother David (Amber) Couch, of Bradford, Maternal grandmother Cynthia Cox, of Gifford, aunt Brenda (Steve) Sheppard, of Bradford, and many cousins.


She was preceded in death by her father William Couch, Jr., paternal Grandparents Bill and Sara Couch, maternal grandfather Donne L. Cox, Grandfather Marlin W. Rickard, two grandmothers Donna Dudley and Grace Rickard

Upon the family's request there will not be any service at this time. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.

when i got the call that taryn was gone i broke down. she was my best friend, and even though we were born a few years apart, i had always felt like she understood me so much that it was like she was my twin. she was my sister, bestfriend, and its hard to know shes gone. but at least she gets to see her dad and our grandpas again. say hi to them for me, will ya, T? love and miss u so much. ill see u at the pearly white gates when my time comes, later in life.

Taryn was my fourth grade student many years ago. She had a heart of gold and was such a sweetheart. I am so sad to hear of her passing. I remember how much she loved her Dad. It brings me comfort to know that they can be united again. ??
