Stanley A. Folts, 95 of Sarasota, FL passed away on Thursday February 18, 2021.

Born on April 3, 1925 in Bradford, he was a son of the late Morris J. and Jessie I. (Flatt) Folts.

On April 7, 1951 in Bradford, he married Virginia (Zimbardi) Folts, who preceded him in death on August 26, 1998.

Stanley was a 1943 graduate of Salamanca High School and upon graduation he enlisted in the United States Navy serving for 5 years.

He was employed at Dresser Manufacturing for 17 years then he was a letter carrier for the United States Post Office for 26 years, retiring in 1987.

Stan was a member of St. Bernard Church, and the VFW Post 212 in Bradford, the Eagles Club, the American Legion and the Elks Club all in FL.

Stanley is survived by two daughters, Sandra (James) Gray, of Marshfield MA, Rosemary (Tony) Schmidt, of Sarasota, FL, three sons Kenneth (Zoe) Folts, Tempe, AZ, and Richard (Daniel) Folts, Ontario CA, Stephen Folts, of Sarasota, FL, six grandchildren, Shauna Folts, of New York City, Rylan Folts, of Hermosa Beach, CA, Brian Bucher, of Salt Lake City, UT, Kristen Zimmerman, of St. Augustine, FL, Kyle Schmidt, of San Francisco, CA, and Madison Carbajales, of Gainsville, FL, and five great grandchildren.

Stanley is also preceded in death by his second wife, Caroline (Armagost) Folts.

Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
