Janet L. Bigley

Janet L. Bigley 79, of Smethport, passed away, Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at Sena-Kean Manor.

Born December 20, 1941 in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Genevieve (Caputo) Leilous. She was a 1958 graduate of St. Bernard School.

On July 23, 2001, in Bozeman, MT, she married Paul E. Bigley, who passed away, September 25, 2018.

Janet had been employed at the McKean County Assistance Office as a caseworker for 10 years. She later did private duty home health care for area families.

She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and canning.

Surviving is one daughter, Marcia Marzucco, of Bonita Springs, FL, one son, Mark (Jodi) Smith, of GA, one sister Judy Miller, and one brother Kenneth (Tonianne) Leilous, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held for family in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., with Rev. Max Simms, Pastor of the Hilltop Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions if desired may be made to the Alzheimer Association 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago IL 60601, or a charity of the donor's choice.
