Margaret A. Greek, 83, a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, of 5341 Nichols Run Road, Limestone, passed away, Sunday April 18, 2021, at Bradford Regional Medical Center.
Margaret was born in Limestone, NY on March 9, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Lillian (Clark) Pinkerton.
She attended the Limestone Union Free High School.
On July 18, 1959 in Bradford, she married Harry L. Greek who passed away on September 11, 2009.
She worked at AirCo-Speer for 20 years, later as a Nurses Aide for 25 years, at the Dresser Home and retired from Bradford Ecumenical Home.
Marge was a member of the Limestone United Methodist Church, Henry Renner Lodge Order of the Eastern Star, Limestone Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary, Limestone American Legion Auxiliary, and Limestone High School Alumni Association.
Marge loved to birdwatch, watching the Buffalo Bills, college basketball and she was an avid Bonnies Fan, but her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family especially Sunday afternoons, cooking large family meals and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are two daughters, Harriet L. Pritchard, of Limestone, and DiAnne M. (Joe) Crowley, of Limestone, one son, Tom (Marilyn) G. Greek, of Olean, one sister, Caroline Mabin, of Limestone, two grandchildren Kevin Crowley, and Kyle (Danelle) Crowley, two great grandchildren, Karson Crowley, and Landon Crowley, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sisters, Pearl Kurtz, Ruth Hill.
Family will receive friends on Thursday April 22, 2021, from 3 pm to 6 pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc. 33 South Ave., where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, April 23, 2021, with Pastor Dr. Eric Kessell, of the Farmersville Baptist Church, officiating. Committal services and burial will follow in Limestone Cemetery.
Memorial contributions if desired may be made to Limestone Volunteer Fire Department or the Auxiliary.
