Cynthia L. Minich

Cynthia L. Minich, 64, of 807 Bolivar Drive, Bradford,  passed away, Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at her residence following a lengthy illness.

Born June 3, 1957, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Robert L. Thompson and Eva Marlene (McClenahan) Thompson who survives.

She was a 1975 graduate of Bradford Area High School.

On February 5, 1977, in St. Bernard Church, she married William A. Minich.

Cindy was employed by the Bradford Area School District for 27 years as a special education aide starting at the elementary level and currently at the high school.

Cindy was also a part time sales associate in the Fran Charles Shop. 

She enjoyed volunteering with the Special Olympics and Elusive Riders program.

Surviving is her mother, her husband of 44 years, one daughter, Jennie (Kevin) Miller, of Warren, two sons, Kevin (Meghan) Minich of McKeesport and William R. (Krystal) Minich, of Bradford, four grandchildren, Calvin Minich, Sammi Minich, Beatrice Miller and Everett Miller, and one sister, Marsha (Jim) Shannon of Bradford.

She was preceded in death by her father and infant sister, Terry Thompson.

Funeral services will be private and held for the family at the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Home Inc. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park.

Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Saturday between the hours of Noon to 3:00pm at Togi's Banquet Facility.

Memorial if desired, may be made to the Special Olympics, or the charity of the donor's choice.
