John David Baney

John David Baney, 67, of 194 Summer Street Bradford, passed away on August 10, 2021 at the Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born on May 1, 1954, he was a son of the late Dean E. and Margaret (Coone) Baney. He was a graduate of Bradford High School class of 1972.

On November 17, 1973, Dave married Anne Marie (Cleveland) at the 1st United Methodist Church in Bradford.

Dave attended the Weaver Airline School and spent his working career as a over the road truck driver for several companies including Modern Transportation.

He was a musician and played the keyboard and guitar in several bands including Hollywood Knights and Double Edge. Along with playing music, Dave enjoyed woodworking, photography, fishing, shooting and watching the Yankees. He loved his grandkids and his dog "Charlie".

Dave is survived by his wife Anne, one daughter Alecia (Paul Jr.) Reynolds of Bradford, two sons, Chad David (Rachel) Baney and Jason Andrew Baney, both of Bradford, grandchildren Alexandria Baney, Victoria Zamberlan, Emily and Alexis Reynolds, two step grandchildren, Johna and Gavin Hart, one sister, Deborah (Tom) Morris of Bradford, and one brother, Peter (Sandra) Baney of Reading, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one uncle, John Matto, and one brother Daniel Baney.

Friends are invited to call on Friday, August, 13, 2021 from 5PM to 7PM at the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., 33 South Avenue, Bradford, at 7PM a funeral service will follow. Burial will be in the St. Bernard Cemetery.

Memorial donations, if desired, can be made to the McKean County SPCA, 80 Glenwood Ave., Bradford, PA, 16701.
