Eugene F. Fitzpatrick

Eugene F. "Fitz" Fitzpatrick, 73, of 302 Bolivar Dr., formerly of Rockland Avenue, passed away at his residence on August 10, 2021. 

Born on September 8, 1947, in Bradford, he was a son of the late William F. Sr. and Gloria (Adams) Fitzpatrick. He was a 1965 graduate of Sylmar High School in California.

On October 5, 1979 in Bradford, he married Sigrid (Stemmler) Fitzpatrick, who survives.

Following High school, Gene served in the United States Air Force, later when in his 30's he enlisted in the United States Army and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant.  

Gene worked for Penelec, Valu Home Center and retired as the office manager for MSL Oil and Gas.

He is survived by his wife Sigrid of 42 years, one daughter, Tanja Fitzpatrick of Bradord, two step sons, Shayne Miller, and Richard Theodore Miller, one step grandson Buddy Devin Miller, two sisters, Mary Fitzpatrick of Bradford, and Geraldine Fitzpatrick, of FL,  three brothers, William F. Fitzpatrick Jr. of Bradford, Walter "John" Fitzpatrick of Custer City, and Edward Fitzpatrick of Bradford, and many nieces and nephews.
 
Gene was preceded in death by a stepson, Ernest Buddy Miller, three sisters, Cynthia Frontino, Edith Fitzpatrick, and Jeanetta McCalla, and one brother, Robert Fitzpatrick.

Military Honors by the United States Air Force and members of the Honor Guard of the American Legion Post 108 of Bradford will be held in Willow Dale Cemetery.

Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering on Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 2-4 PM at 796 West Washington St. Bradford.
