Norma Jean Alviti

Norma Jean Alviti, 89, of 657 West Corydon Street, Bradford, passed away Friday, August 13, 2021, at Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born January 19, 1932, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Fennell and Margaret (O'Connor) Fennell. She was a 1950 graduate of St. Bernard School.

On April 7, 1951, in St. Bernard Church, she married Jack M. Alviti who preceded her in death on January 25, 2013.

Norma was employed at Bell Telephone Company and retired from Zippo Manufacturing Company after 37 years.

She was a member of St. Bernard Church.

Norma was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who took pride in providing for her children and grandchildren, making home cooked meals, family dinners together at one table, and attending her children and grandchildren's sporting events. She loved to travel with her husband, family, and friends.

Surviving are two daughters, Sharon (Alton) Hollebeke, and Allison (Lloyd) Ambrose, one son, Mike (Brenda) Alviti, all of Bradford, 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack of 62 years, two brothers Tom and John Fennell, and one sister, Mary Fennell.

Friends will be received on Tuesday August 17, 2021, from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc. 372 East Main Street where a prayer service will be held Wednesday at 9:30 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Bernard Church with Fr. Jim Gutting, Senior Associate as celebrant.

Committal services and entombment will be in the Alviti Family Mausoleum in St. Bernard Cemetery.
